Privacy Policy

Last reviewed: 2026-04-16

Tekai is a static technology intelligence site. We do not require accounts, do not sell data, and we do not run first-party analytics beyond Vercel's anonymous, privacy-friendly traffic measurements. This page lists every third-party processor we send data to and why.

Data processors

  • Vercel (hosting) — processes HTTP requests to serve the site. Retains access logs (IP address, user-agent, request path) for operational and security purposes. See Vercel's privacy policy.
  • Vercel Web Analytics — collects aggregated, anonymous page-view counts. Does not set cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, does not use personal identifiers.
  • Vercel Speed Insights — measures Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP, TTFB) in the visitor's browser and reports aggregated percentiles. No personal data.
  • Vercel Edge Config — used to store hashed records of Ko-fi donors who upvoted roadmap features, so they can be notified when a feature ships. Only the email address voluntarily provided with the donation is stored. Deleted after the corresponding feature ships.
  • Resend — used only to send a one-shot "your feature shipped" email to voters whose donation is linked to that feature. No newsletter, no marketing.
  • Ko-fi — handles donations. We receive a webhook containing the donor's email and donation metadata; we do not receive payment credentials. Donations are optional and the site works fully without them.
  • GitHub — hosts the source repository and issue tracker. If you open a roadmap issue or vote via reactions, your GitHub identity is visible on the issue.

Data we do NOT collect

  • We do not set first-party tracking cookies.
  • We do not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other cross-site tracker.
  • We do not require an account and do not offer user registration.

Your rights

Under GDPR and equivalent regimes, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any data tied to your identity. To exercise these rights, open an issue on our GitHub repository or use the contact page.

Updates

We update this page whenever the stack of processors changes. The Last reviewed date at the top of this page is the most recent review.
